Out of Focus Margaret Buffie Books Reviews

This novel is written for teens but is a great read for people of all ages.

Author Margaret Buffie has written an honest novel about a family that is broken up because of alcoholism and fear.

Her main characters Celia the alcoholic mother who does not seem to have a clue and her daughter Bernie are a joy to read. I do not remember the last time I read a book in which the child so honestly confronted a parent about their alcoholism and their horrible parenting (non-existing).

This storyline is hard to read, but has an inspirational message.

Buy this book. This author needs to write more of this type of book.
